Theory of Everything
By Anthony Chiboucas

Glancing at the whole of existence would surely be incomprehensible to any onlooker. An attempt to look at everything at once would leave nothing but a blurred and scrambled image, with only a few recognizable forms. The question is how to divide that whole, into sections that can be perceived, and perhaps translated in a way that makes some sense to the human perspective. To do this, one way might be to imagine reality as layers upon layers of influencing forces, and complexity. Each layer in and of itself remains simple to a point of near-perfection. Which, when combined with every other affect on our reality, creates a world and existence more complicated than man will likely ever be capable of perceiving. This is the view presented here. This description of an opinion is based from forming the outermost forces, and working inward, to smaller and more detailed layers of existence, until reaching the individual mind. This approach, while seeming farfetched in the beginning, will not fit into one picture until the end. The contrary method would be to describe from the bottom up. While that may be easier to follow, and appear less like esoteric fantasy, it would fall short of helping the reader understand it as it was meant.

Driving this existence is likely some from of intellect. There is little other way to explain many great mysteries of science, and bizarre accuracy of some religions. Many have argued against this assumption, and many for. Still the fact remains science cannot explain everything, and likely never will. There are those of scientific minds who would argue that, "Though science cannot explain things yet, does not mean there is not some explanation. Therefore science itself cannot be used as a proof for metaphysical forces." These people will likely find what is written here to be meaningless and useless dribble. It should also be noted that if such a statement is to be followed then likewise couldn't ask for scientific proof of the same. Simply stated, this is written under the assumption that there is a greater power of some sort. Such awareness would likely have a purpose in mind for what we know as everything. Existence itself being as complex as allowing for chance, growth, and many other things. Several factors of each are similar to all of the layers, which were mentioned earlier. Those paths of chance, fate, and decision, which have more favorable outcomes, tend to continue through time, gradually growing. Think of this as a form of evolution for emotion and fate. Considering that most everything that shows improvement tends to continue improving suggests that this is the design for existence. Given that improvement can only get closer to perfection, and never reach it, gives away the very goal of this experiment of our reality, and the need for it's complexity. That which is closer to perfection continues to get closer growing in number and frequency, and thereby growing in its affect on the whole. Continuing that pattern until taking a turn away from that goal, and decreasing in frequency. That which decreases in frequency will have a lesser affect on the whole, and therefor continue to fade from existence. Using evolution once again, consider the creature of times past, that died off the moment their evolution took a wrong turn. The goal of existence is to discover the reality of perfection, through the tools of fate, chance, time, life, and consciousness. Beneath this driving layer is time. This is the foundation for existence upon which the growth and development of our existence can build. Every other force in our world relies upon time as a constant to contrast against (though this could be argued in that the human mind measured everything through contrast and time, and would therefor use time as that same constant to describe existence), with the one unusual exception of consciousness. As everything progresses farther through time, it grows closer to the goal of perfection. Time itself is fluid. It does not remain a constant within science or consciousness. This is evident in the theory of relativity, as well how an individual's perception of time passing changes with age and environment.

Life itself effects growth, change and conflict over time. A necessity in an attempt at reaching that goal, as things must be capable of adapting and changing in order to slowly reach toward that perfection. Time develops life through chance, which in turn develops consciousness and therefor choice. Fate itself is an interesting mixture of choice and chance, in conditions that push in the direction of the main goal of existence. The very existence of life enables the existence of the other forces of our reality. Consciousness is that which most every living thing has to some degree. The word describes an awareness of one's surroundings, enabling each to make choices. Choice, as mentioned earlier, is a driving force of fate, which will be described later. It also allows for the development of the mind, and for self-awareness. Choice by itself does not have much effect on the whole, however it is necessary for fate and self-awareness, suggesting that said awareness may be a possible path to perfection. However, as consciousness may be nothing more than a byproduct of life, it could simply be a necessary branch in exploring all possible paths through time and chance.

Fate and chance work together to create all possible extensions of existence, and drive those that are promising, closer to perfection. Chance is the simple concept of random change. Fate is the mix of chance, choice self-awareness, and emotion, placed against that structure of time. As such, deep self-awareness and inner understanding, could be another possible path to that perfection. In truth, this mix of fate and chance allows for everything to be a possible path, thereby allowing every possible path to be explored. (Barring, of course, if humanity some how manages to find a way to destroy all of existence.) Therefore it is not possible for one to know the truth of which path lead closer, for only at the end of time can perfection be found. Of course, as time stretches into infinity, it makes absolute perfection impossible, however the more complex and lengthy the experiment, the closer it will get.

Self-awareness is of course the result of advanced consciousness. It also allows for emotion and exploring consciousness. Take notice in that for each layer, it requires another to explore it, therefore through emotion (which you may consider even to be the soul) one may explore self-awareness, self-awareness to explore consciousness and fate, and consciousness and fate to explore time. However, here we reach a loop, where self-awareness can also be used to explore emotion. It is at this nexus where philosophy, theology, religion, and science collide. It is also at this nexus where we find the proof of a greater consciousness as mentioned earlier. Though until we have explored it enough, the intellectual groups may never agree. Of course this also means that the assumption upon which this was written, could be entirely incorrect.

As each individual piece of life travels along time, chance fate, and choice drive each in it's own direction. Those that reach closer to perfection have a greater affect on the whole, driving fate to push it it's favor. Each that falls away, will be less successful in conflict and decisions, and have a lesser affect on the whole. Plants, and their simplicity could very well be closer than humanity if you consider their success, and yet as things grow closer over time, and humanity has reached that nexus, perhaps we are closer. Only time will tell.

To better illustrate the design of existence described, consider a point in space. Radiating out from that point, in the cardinal directions is time. Along the same cardinal directions are the closest paths to perfection. As that which is closer to perfection will last longer in time, it will reach out from the center. Until that path has reached it's plateau, then it will curve back away from the centerline, and spiral to an end. In the end, the absence of everything is the only perfect thing, yet this perfect nothing has no value. What would result if something did follow to perfection if it were possible? Would it become nothing? Or would it become a greater consciousness. Again one finds that turmoil of the infinite and the void which our mind cannot perceive. Perhaps they are one and the same. The absence of everything, is the only perfection, and therefore is also perfect consciousness. Perhaps "Nothing" created "Everything."
