Quest Provider: Mertaire
Quest: Path of the Bard
What to do:
There are three quests total for this, to save time get your parchment before you head to Buburimu (see part 2).
The Old Monument:
Talk to Mertaire in Merry Minstrel Meadhouse in Lower Jeuno I-8, then talk to Bki Tbujhja in the same room.
Head to Buburimu Peninsula.
There is a hidden path at G-10 that will take you to F/G-9.
Click on the "Song Runes", on the west side up from the beach, you will get a cut scene.
Click on the "Song Runes" again for the clue to bring it 'a parchment'.
A Minstrel In Dispair:
Get 'a parchment', can be bought in AH, under LeatherCraft or crafted (sheep leather, rolanberry, dark crystal - skill 31)
Trade it to the "Song Runes" in Buburimu to receive a "Poetic parchment".
Return the item to Mertaire for a cut scene.
You receive 2100 gil.
Path of the Bard:
Talk to Bki Tbujhja (Merry Minstrel, Lower jeuno I-8 ), she will stay something about another set of Song Runes n Valkurn.
Head to C-6 in Valkurn, and go through the tunnel.
On the hidden beach head south east to the bottom right of B-7.
Click on the Song Rune you will get a cut scene.
You receive 3000 gil and the ability to change into a bard.
Beastmaster Quest
Quest Provider: Dietmund
Quest: Get the Night Flowers from the Qufim Island
What to do: Talk to Dietmund, he will come out as soon as you open the door.
Go to a edge of the cliff in Qufim (F-8).
Wait until it is night (23:00-04:00).
Walk down the cliff following a path at the edge.
At the bottom and click on Night Flowers which will be glowing (since it is night time).
Go back to Dietmund, then talk to the chocobo house owner Brutus at Upper Jeuno to obtain Beast Master.
watch out for Kraken
Dark Knight Quest
Quest Provider: Gumbah
Quest: Kill 100 enemies with Death Sword
What to do: Talk to Gumbah (Bastok Mines J-7)get the quest. Then go to 3rd floor of Palbrough Mines (G-8), get on the ship back to town and after the ride in the Zerhaun mines you'll recieve a 2 handed sword. Equip the sword and kill 100 of any type of enemies. After the 100 or more kills goto Beadeaux(Beado) which is located at the Southeast exit of the Pashhow Marshland and you get Dark knight.
Note: The easiest way for me to kill 100 enemies was, change sub job to black mage and make sure you have stone magic. equiped the sword and attacked the monster first with stone magic then finish it off with 1 or 2 hits with regular attack. Of course I fought all the easy monsters in front of Bastok. I reached 100 in less then 30 minutes.
Dragoon Quest
Quest Provider: Oiheaurese
Quest: Obtain the Dragon egg
What to do: First of all go to "Cargo Room A" (I-10) in Port Sandoria. Then speak to Arminibit and Ceraulian. Enter Chateau d'Oraguille(Castle) then Down the path at (I-8) to Bostaunieux Oubliette(Prison), then enter the first path that's to the right to meet Novalmauge. Go to the Cathedral in Northern San Doria(L-7) and speak with Morjean to recieve the quest from Oiheaurese. After receiving the quest, goto the Auction house and buy some Pickaxe for excavating purpose.
Now, go to the Maze of Shakrami to excavate at "Excavation Point" (G-7),(I-6), etc., NOT "Fossil Rock", for a "Dragon Egg"
Go back to Cathedral and speak with Morjean, Accept the additional quest given by Yachemidot. Go to the Meriphataud Mountains, then to the east at (K-8) will be the end of the Drogaroga's Spine, There will be ???, trade the egg to the ??? and a event will occur.
Go back to Sandoria and enter Chateau d'Oraguille(Castle) then enter into Royal Knights'Qrs(H-9) and speak to Rahal and receive a key item.
After receiving the key item, go to Ghelsba Outpost. Locate the "Hide Door"(G-10 Hut) in the Ghelsba Outpost and defeat the Dragon.
Ninja Quest
Quest Provider: Ensetsu
Quest: Deliver the ore to Ryoma at Norg
What to do: Speak to Kaede in a house located in Port Bastok (I-5). Then go into the warehouse in Port Bastok (F-5) and speak to Kagetora. Then go back to the same house where Kaede is (I-5), but this time go to the room to the left and speak to Ensetsu.
Go to Bastok Mines -> Zeruhn Mines -> Korroloka Tunnel to (A-9) then you'll be transferred over to (N-8) of same map. Now head over to (G-8) then you'll be transferred over to (I-11) of same map. Head over to (K-8) and there will be a ???. Get ready and click on it to fight 3 Korroloka Leeches (Leech type NM). You may want to clear the area of Thread Leeches since they will start attacking you if they see you are fighting the Korroloka Leeches. After the fight click on the ??? to recieve a key item.
Head back to Ensetsu in Port Bastok (I-5) then head to the new area Norg and speak to Ryoma to complete the quest.
Paladin Quest
Quest Start: Southern San d'Oria
Quest Provider: Balasiel (F-7)
This quest can be started before level 30, but must be finished at 30+.
Your first task is to find a Revival Tree Root which is dropped from any undead mobs (i found mine in gusgen mines). It can also be purchased at the AH (not sure of the price).
The seconds task he gives you requires you to goto Ordelle's Caves, the entance can be found in area F-6 of La Theine. Travel through the caves until you reach the water falls at G-7, look for a small pool of muddy water and touch the ??? that you find there, then run quickly to the middle of that room to another ???. you should get the Stalagtite Dew, if you dont repeat the process. Bring the dew back to Balasiel.
To activate the third part you must be at least lvl 30. Balasiel gives you a book which contains a riddle. To complete the riddle you have to speak to two town guards. the guards are located on the second floor of the guard towers in
south sand. you have to find a small open doorway to the left or right of the guard tower to find the stairs up. once you have the books from the guards, make your way to Davoi in the Jugner forest, here you have to make your way to section E-10 to find the disused well, but the mobs in Davoi are very strong, so either bring a full party of friends, a white mage friend with sneak and invis, or buy some prism powders and silent oils. use conquest points to buy a scroll of instant warp to get back to san d'oria with ease.
Ranger Quest
Location:Windurst Woods K-7
Quest Provider: Perih Vashai
Quest: Watach a old sabertooth die
What to do: Go to Sauromugue Champaign L-10 and wait until the Old Sabertooth naturally dies.
Check the Tiger Bones to get key item, the fang of a dead tiger.
The spot is guarded by three tigers.
Old Sabertooth pops every 14 minutes. (If you attack it, you will fail in the quest.)
Then return to Perih Vashai.
Samurai Quest
Quest Provider: Jaucribaix
Quest:
What to do: Talk to Jaucribaix in Norg (Outside Gilgamesh's room on 2F). He wants a branch from a tree in a sacred place and iron filings from a bomb. Talk to Ranemaud to receive a sacred tree sapling then talk to Aeka to receive old iron from the east. The next two parts can be done in any order.
1.) Trade the old iron to the ??? point at the far west of Konschtat Highlands (D8). A bomb enemy, Forger, will appear. Kill it and you will receive the iron filings. Even if you fight this bomb with a party, it will only drop 1 item, and you can only trade iron to the ??? every 3 minutes.
2.) Use an Hactchet at the ??? point on the huge tree at the west side of The Sanctuary of Zi'Tah. A Walking Tree enemy, Guardian Treant, will appear. Kill it and examine the ??? again to receive the branch.
3.) Return to Jaucribaix with these items. After you give him them, he will tell you to come back in three days (3 real hours). Come back and you will receive the Samurai job class and an Unsigned Sword.
Summoner Quest
Quest Provider: Ajido-Marujido [Windurst Walls (G3)]
Quest: I Can Hear a Rainbow
What to do: Talk to Ajido-Marujido and then, after hearing what he has to say, go and fight ANY kind of leeches and they will eventually drop a stone item (Only if you are Lv30 though, and the drop ratio is 1% for the stone).
The locations of leeches which drop it are:
Zeruhn Mines - Leech (Lv3-Lv5)
Korroloka Tunnel - Thread Leech (Lv28-Lv31)
Buburimu Peninsula - Poison Leech (Lv21-Lv25)
Qufim Island - Acrophies (Lv32-Lv34)
Valkurm Dunes - Thread Leech (Lv21-Lv25)
Sea Serpent Grotto - Royal Leech (Lv35-Lv38)
Ordelle's Caves - Poison Leech (Lv25-Lv27)
Castle Oztroja - Yagudo Parasite (Lv45-Lv48)
Maze of Shakhrami - Poison Leech (Lv24-Lv28)
Bostaunieux Oubliette - Bloodsucker (Lv52-Lv54)
Rolanberry Fields - Poison Leech (Lv24-Lv26)
Toraimarai Canal - Bloodsucker (Lv54-Lv57)
1.) Investigate the door of "House of the Hero" in Windurst Walls with the stone in your inventory.
2.) Take the stone to experience 7 weather conditions. You will need Pleasant, Earth, Water, Fire, Lighting, Wind, and Ice. You do not actually have to see the elemental, you just have to have the weather effect on the map.
3.) When you have all 7 DO NOT go back to Windurst, instead head over to La Theine Plateau's stone circle (G6). Trade the stone to the ??? and you will obtain the Summoner job along with the summon Carbuncle. You can now change to Summoner in your Mog House.

Wind-Can get it on the way from Windurst to Mharua
Ice-The hardest one. Batallia rarely has it, or you can get it at the Glacier, north east of East Ron.
