Day 28
Titus 3
10Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a second
time. After that, have nothing to do with him.
11You may be sure that such a man is warped and sinful; he is
self-condemned.
Matthew 18
15"If
your brother sins against you,[1]
go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you,
you have won your brother over.
16But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that
'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.'[2]
17If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he
refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you
would a pagan or a tax collector.
18"I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be[3]
bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[4]
loosed in heaven.
19"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about
anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.
20For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with
them."
Romans 16
17I urge
you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in
your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from
them.
18For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own
appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they
deceive the minds of naive people.
19Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I am full of joy over you;
but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.
20The Goof peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
