GUACAMOLE SALSA DIP
This is a very nice change from the standard guacamole dip. I serve it at our superbowl party with nachos.
Difficulty Level: 2.5 out of 5
INGREDIENTS: 2 medium avacados, peeled (you may buy guacamole already made) 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 pkg Phili Cream Cheese, softened 1/2 cup sour cream 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/2 tsp salt 3 garlic cloves, minced 1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce or tabasco 1 - 2 cans refried beans 1 jar salsa shredded lettuce ripe olives, sliced (black) 1 pkg shredded cheddar cheese METHOD: Mash avacados with the lemon juice and set aside (or buy guacamole in a tub). Combine cream cheese and sour cream using a wooden spoon. Do not over mix or blend. Add onions, garlic, salt and tobasco. Set aside. Take a pie plate and spread the refried beans to evenly coat the bottom. Then spread the avacado mixture (or guacamole premade) on top of bean mixture. Then spread the sour cream mixture and then the salsa mixture. For a nice change you can combine the salsa and sour cream mixture before spreading. Top with shredded cheddar, a sprinkling of lettuce and olives. Chill. Serve with tortilla chips. Serves: N/A
