RECIPE OF THE WEEK
GLAZED HAM
Ingredients:

2 lb Black Forest Ham
2 tsp (give or take a few) whole cloves
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tsp tarragon
1/4 cup water (or citrus juice)
1/2 cup apricot preserves (optional)

Method:

Cut a diagonal pattern all around the outside of the ham, spacing cuts to 1 inch apart (you will end up with a diamond pattern for each 1 inch square).  Push a clove into each diamond (or the majority of diamonds).  Mix brown sugar, mustard and tarragon together in a bowl and brush over the entire surface of the ham.  Place ham in a pan.  Preheat your oven to 350 F.  Pour the water/juice into the bottom of the pan and cook the ham for 45 minutes or until heated thoroughly.  If you want a little extra zip add 1/2 cup apricot jam to the mustard mixture.

Just in time for Easter!!!!  This is wonderful and freezes well in case you want to use the leftovers for pea soup or something.
