| 09-03-00 12:45AM - Today I was supposed to go see Baby Hua Mei again, but mom and dad didn't drag me out of bed. Oh well. Dad finally fixed the scanner and I put new pics up. They kind of look deformed htough so I think I'm going to re-edit them and re-load them. I just felt like typing. Okay! That's enough! Back to work! | |||||||||
| 09-09-00 2:35AM - I had actually worked on this a few days before, but I lost all the information before I was able to save it. I was so frusrated, I didn't want to deal with another journal entry for at least a few days. I took my final today for my Psych 160 class. I hope I did well. Let's cross our fingers. The days prior to the finals, I was trying to procrastinate as usual. I went to this website The Spark, and took a whole bunch of their surveys. According to the site, I'm going to be a millionire by the time I get to my mid-late 40's (I wish); I'm going to die when I'm 75 on 03/22/2054; and I'm 77% intelligent (so I guess that's a good thing). Also, although I may be single and dateless, according to them, I'm not desperate yet. Yippee??? In addition to this mayhem, I took a personailty test. This is what it says about me: MENTOR (Submissive Extrovert Abstract Thinker) Like just 6% of the population you are a MENTOR (SEAT). Some would call you the most powerful and influential people of all people. Those people are wrong. The reality is that you DON'T really WANT to impose personal views or beliefs on others. Yet you are extroverted and intelligent, and you like to get involved. So you help others with the pursuit of knowedge. You're the reason that people say teachers are also students. You are as much a learner as a master, adn this satisfies you. You won't die a lonely death, but towards the end you'll grow introspective, wondering if your life meant anything. This will last for decades, adn you'll die after your spouse. So the good news is that I'm going to get married (eventually). The bad news is that I'll probably annoy my spouse to death with probing questions about my life. Isn't that something to look forward to?This weeked I'm going to the Zoo again. Hopefully this time Baby Hua Mei will be awake. My sister and I are beginning to get a bit frustrated. We're going to bring Mom and Dad along, so it should be fun. My sister in NY is going to have her baby any time now. I'm so excited!!! I have to go buy her baby crap. I should go place my catalog order soon, or else I know I'll forget it . Just think, I'm going to be an auntie! |

| 09-13-00 1:05AM - This weekend was really fun. I was supposed to go to Street Scene with Stephanie, but was too poor. So I ended up going out with Lan and Chau to Dim Sum. Huy, Chau's Boyfriend met us up there and we all had brunch together. How nice. Afterwards, we stopped by my workplace and I showed Lan where I worked and what the building looked like (Huy had left Dim Sum early and we had to drop off his chicken feet at work). It was a boring tour. Chau and I dropped off Lan and then met up again with Huy. We ended up going to Fashion Valley mall to go shopping. I picked up a PJ set for my soon to be neice/nephew, and a few stuffed animals for myself (I'm still a kid at heart). We then hung out at Huy's till about midnight. Overall a nice, relaxing, but boring day. Monday I dyed my hair blue. It didn't come out as well as I expected, so my mom and I are going to re-bleach my hair and put in more blue streaks. My hair was too dark and because of my red color. It was hard to bleach out the old color to make room for the new. Hopefully everything will come out really cool once the sreaks are put in. I have one of my co-workers calling me "Smurf-Head" now. It's pretty funny! I hung out with Peter later that day. We watched "Saving Grace," a movie about pot. Pretty friggin hillarious movie. I'd recommend it to anyone. Today was pretty lame. I ran a bunch of errands, and went to work. All my calls tonight werte messed up in one way or another. People totally suck. Especially stupid people. They are especially more tiresome to deal with. | |||||||||
| 09-19-00 3:20PM - So I've re-dyed my hair blue...even bluer than before. I think it's about as blue as this page. Hopefully I'll have a reason to take pictures soon so that you all get to see what it looks like. It's pretty cool! I haven't really done much with myself over the past week. School is going to start on Thursday and I'm not very excited abut it. I feel almost as if I've wasted an entire summer just doing nothing. I've just gone to work, went to summer school...and that's it! Ugh... What a waste! I think I need to start making the most of my time. Working at night sucks! I just watched a Madonna concert on VH1. It was one of her old ones "The Girlie Show." I totally want to go see her in concert LIVE now. I even started dancing and singing in front of my TV because it was so cool! My sister has the "Immaculate Collection" CD. It's such a great CD! I could listen to it over, and over, and over...etc... without really getting sick of it. I'm trying to get time off from work to go see my sister in December. Wish me luck! |

| 10-01-00 12:15PM - Let's see. School started on the 21st. I was laready hating it on the first day of school. I spent $350.00 for a parking permit which allows me to park in crappy spaces. Yippee! In exchange for me being ripped off, I got 2 free transportation tote bags. It's all definately worth it to me now! I work out about 4 times a week. Mondays and Friday mornings I work out with Peter. Wednesdys and Thursdays I work out with Lan. On top of that I have a Latin Dance class on Mondays and Wednesdays. I was going to take a Tuesdays and Thurday Aikido class, but it conflicts with my schedule. Drat! Oh well...perhaps next quarter... My sister had her baby on wed. It was a 7LB 3-3/4OZ healthy, baby boy! His name is James. That name pretty much came out of nowhere. My sister says that it's a Scottish name and that she liked it a lot. Ummm... Okay... That kid has already got a ton of clothes and toys from everyone and has $500.00 to his name! Dude! I had to wait until I was 21 before I could squeeze that kind of money out of my aunt! LOL! I got my vacation time from work. Yippee! So I'm going to be in NY from December 23rd - Jan 4th. Hurrah! Perhaps this time I'll be able to see the Guggenheim. Other than that, I'm not really up to much. My day usually starts at 6:30AM and ends at about 3AM. Then the cycle repeats. Sucks to be me! I'm very sleep deprived! So I bet everyone can guess what I do on weekends! I think I'm going to dye my hair purple tonight..... |

| 10-09-00 1:05AM - Growing up sucks. You have a ton of responsibilities and commitments, and since everyone has their own schedule, it's hard trying to fit in time to hang out with your freinds. Chad is going up to SF this weekend for his sister's wedding, but I've got school and work. Bummer. I totaly would have LOVED to go to Frisco. It's such a great city and there's tons of stuff to do. That way I could have gone to see Erik beans too. Oh well.... *sigh* Basically my life has been filled with the same ol; same ol routine of work and school. It's getting rather dull and redundant, but there isn't much I can do about it. I cannot wait for winter break to come around. I'll have 2 weeks in NYC and it will be a nice change of pace for me. Supposedly in a few more weekends, there is going to be a ballroom dance competition in LA at the LA Hilton. I think I'm going to have to attend it for a Latin dance class I'm taking. We're supposed to critique a performance, but frankly, I don't even know what goes into a critique. I guess I'll have to figure that out before I write it uo, eh? I'm still trying to find out info about it (where, when, cost of admission, time..etc). But none of my contacts have gotten back to me yet (friggin flakes!). Perhaps I'll have to resort to calling the hotel myself to get that information. Geez! Can't depend on anyone nowadays! Emily and I studied today. We were such good, duitiful students. Yippee! Other than that not much is really happening. My mom has called a few times from NY. She says my nephew is doing well and that he's gotten cuter. She also says she is bored there, but that's beacuse she doesn't get out to see anything or go to the museums. I'm sure it'll be more fun as soon as my daddy joins her. How can NYC possibly be boring? That's almost blasphemy!!!! =P |
