Shigure Souma is twenty seven years old. He is in dog zodiac. His occupation is novelist. He is the oldest member in the house where Kyo, Yuki, and Tohru (later on) stay. He might seems to be the most mature and gentle character at first but he is actually a rather pervert guy.

As a novelist, his editor often come to the house to get his work. When that happens, he will make many excuses and run away. He will make his editor beg in tears, chasing him all around, and getting more stressful of the deadline of the work she must collect that comes closer. He likes to play his editor and once gives her an empty script.

Being cursed in dog, he will transform into a dog when hugging female. When this happens, he will act like a nice and friendly pet dog. He will shake his tails and show that he is ready to play with people.
