| Medieval Knot Gardens can be works of utter beauty...A Theme garden is one that you make, utilizing a common feature, such as a flower color or function. You can make it a Medicinal Garden, a Fragarance Garden, Everlasting Garden of ornamental plants for drying, and a Kitchen Garden. Others include a White Garden, using silver-leaved and white flowering herbs, a Seasonal Garden, using herbs and/or flowers that bloom during your favorite season! A Herb Garden that is a "Meaningful garden"; using herbs that are popular for sending messages, such as Rosemary for Remembrance or Borage for Courage. Themed Gardens also can have Literary signifigance. You can make a Shakespearean Garden that uses the plants that are sung by the Bard, Biblical Gardens, using the herbs found in the Bible...let your imagination run wild!! |
