~*~ Eva LaRue Callahan's Biography ~*~



Eva LaRue Callahan joined All my Children in March of 1993 where she played the beautiful Dr. Maria Santos, who was initially supposed to play a part in Trevor Dillions life. But the chemistry between Edmund and Maria coud not be denied. And the rest is history!

Eva began acting at the age of six, appearing in jingles and commercials. She also made guest appearaces in Nurses, Married with Children, Perfect Strangers, Dallas and Freddy's Nightmares. She appeared in feature films such as Robocop III, Heart Condition, Crash N Burn, and the Barbarians. Eva also appeared on another daytime drama, playing Margo on Santa Barbara and also co hosted with Dom DeLouise on the New Candid Camera.

Eva loves to sing and had the oppurtunity to sing the National Anthem at many LA Kings hockey games and LA Raiders games many years ago. Since she receieved her first horse at a tender age of five, she has not stopped riding. And on October 1, 1996 Eva got engaged to co-star John Callahan (Edmund, AMC) and married later the next month in Hawaii on November 30, 1996. (Both had been previously married) Since then, they had hosted many numerous specials including Lifetime's Wedding of A Lifetime and both co-hosted the 1997 Miss America pagent.

Eva has also made many made for tv movies which include 1995's A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes (Annette), Danielle Steel's Remberence in 1996, Nowhere to Run in 1997, and Ice in 2000. Eva left AMC to do other projects including the short lived sitcom, Head over Heels in 1999. But now has two re-curring roles on NBC's Third Watch (Brooke- first airdate Feb. 21, 2000) and Showtime's Soul Food (lawyer Josefina- first airdate June 28, 2000)

Eva rejoined All my Children in August of 2002 as the role she loves so much to play, Maria Santos Grey. What will happen with Maria this time? Stay Tuned to All my Children.
