I know I have written the "official" story on the death of my Gilles but there are somethings I need to say.

I have come to the conclusion that Gilles' death was most probably not accidental. In my heart I do believe that the last person to be with Gilles, drowned him. Yes, Gilles was severely intoxicated, therefore it would not have been very difficult for this 'person' to hold my son under the water and have very little resistance from Gilles.  I will list the reasons I have for believing my Gilles was murdered. I know these are my opinions and I will not name but the person, I believed murdered my son, he knows who he is and he will one day have to face God and answer for his evil act.

   1. Gilles was so intoxicated that he could not walk, without falling, on level ground; nor could he, without assistance, get himself up. Therefore how could he have walked down a sloped embankment, without falling, and then step into the creek , step out the otherside, then just lay down in the grass until he rolled into the water?.

   2. The 'last person' with Gilles that night, often bullied him and pushed him around.

  3. I am not convinced that the police are convinced that Gilles' drowning was accidental.

   4. The day after Gilles died, I recieved a phone call from a boy. He told me that Gilles did not die alone, that the 'person', last known to be with Gilles,  was 'bragging' how easy it was to hold Gilles under the water!
All I have left of my Gilles is this urn with his remains. Gilles is guarded by sleeping cherubs, for there is no longer any reason for anyone to ever hurt him again.
