The Fallen Champions of Lathander

Long ago a powerful cleric of Lathander uncovered a great evil known only as "Dregoth."

After uncovering this evil, Jax became possessed and a curse was placed on him, and Jax became a form of lich, and his servants into vampires.

The elves of Cormanthor and the clergy of Lathander rallied against Jax, and sent their best to stop him.

They managed to seal him with an artifact called the Sealing Gemm which was broken up, and scattered amongest the crypt, and sacrificed a mage and a cleric to guard him forever , along with a golem made of bone.

These vampiric abominations were once the four champions of Lathander sent to battle the men called Jax.

They too were cursed with undeath, and have stalked the halls of the crypt for 600 years, plotting to escape and be free.

The champions were once known as Dominix, Ferris, Levitus, Tyronious.

They were slain by the heroes and Sir Trent in order to recover the Key Shards each of them possessed to recraft the Sealing Gem.
