Prologue - A Gathering of Heroes
Eleasias - 6 - 1368 - Year of the Banner The story takes place in the town of Oakhurst; a munificent village in the area Deepingdale, and next to the Old Road. It is said that long ago, a great citadel once stood along the path of the Old Road. Until one day, the gods tore the land a sunder, and sank the fortress beneath the earth. The fortress itself lays in the chasm, still intact, but now inhabitied by cave dwelling creature. It has become a place for the brave to test their luck, and the foolish to meet their doom. A fortnight ago, a group of four adventurers made a journey into the citadel, but they have not been heard from since. The mother of two of the adventurers; and a well-established merchant, has sent a call for those willing to brave the depths to find her children, and she will pay them a handsome fee for there return. So, drawn by the promise of wealth, the desire to explore, or the will to help others; the Heroes of Oakhurst must assemble and work together to survive the challenges of...The Sunless Citadel.
