The story of Random Thoughts from the Coffeehouse
Daily Thoughts from the Coffeehouse started in August 2001. Originally,  it consisted of pieces of conversations with Sara Hurd as well as a few with Deanna Ratz. Eventually it progressed to CafeJesus, where various ideas that were conceived became part of what was then know as Daily Thoughts from the Coffeehouse. The title Daily Thoughts from the Coffeehouse is actually a combination of two different sources. The Daily Thoughts from the various conversations that occurred and the name of the main chat room at CafeJesus where the majority of the conversations took place.

In November 2001, the daily e-mail list Daily Thoughts from the Coffeehouse began. Consisting of only a few people it eventually grew to 25 people who received messages on a daily basis. Near the end of December 2001, Daily Thoughts from the Coffeehouse was temporarily suspended.

In Early January 2001, Daily Thoughts from the Coffeehouse returned as Random Thoughts from the Coffeehouse.  This reflected not only a title change but more importantly a change in the manner and frequency in which it was distributed. It changed from  daily delivery to randomly sent.

The latest addition  was this website which was started in March 19, 2002. This site right now is planned to serve as an archive for Random Thoughts, information concerning Random Thoughts from the Coffeehouse, information from the author, and other information of interest.

About Sara's Words
Sara's words are driectly attributed to a very good friend of mine. Her name is Sara Hurd. Sara is a wonderful young lady that I have been talking to on a fairly regualr basis since late July 2001. Through various conversations that we have had since then various things that she has said or things that she has written have proven to be rather interesting to me. So I have taken all of these things and compiled them into the entries labeled throughout as "Sara's Words"
