| It was such an eerie feeling riding in the back seat of the taxi along Maine Avenue where to my left boats and yachts were passing each other on the Potomac. And as a caravan of 'cycles roared by but, almost in sync, I could hear Phil Collin's voice singing "I Could Feel It Comin." | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Surprisely, I did not photograph Rolling Thunder in 1999 or 2000. Nor will in 2005. As is the case with many of my photography projects, from years past, some of the negatives from each of these past years have not yet been processed. And when I now revisit these images and while remembering what I was going through at the time I also can see a maturation in my work. Since each project was a learning process whereby I'd attempt to improve on my photography. |
