As a young boy growing up in rural Southern Maryland pictures of funerals had always interested me. Inspired by images that I'd first see in black publications such as Jet and Ebony one of the first books that I'd check out of the Lexington Park Public Library was a book on the photography of James Van Der Zee. | ||||||||||||||
