This is the most recent drawing of Fadi. But, he has shaved since. I did this one morning when he was lounging on the couch watching cartoons. |

This was done way back when I was in highschool. I think it was 10th grade, so that would be 1996. I had to reduce it on the copy machine since it wouldn't fit into my scanner otherwise. It lost some detail and shading in the copying process. |

Fadi was about 19 when I drew this. I drew it from a photo I had taken of him while we were camping. This is when he had long hair that was pulled into a pony tail. |

This is drawn from a photo my father had taken of himself when he was about 18. He was mad at his then girlfriend (now wife), my mother, because she had stood him up. It was actually two photos superimposed. One of him smiling and one of him frowning. Then he mailed the picture to my mom with a letter stating that she made him feel happy and sad at the same time. Yeah, Dad was a stalker and Mom married him anyway! :P |

I just found this in a forgotten sketchpad. This is a portrait of my friend Stephanie. I did my best to capture the emotion of her smile. It was based on a snap shot of her I had taken and I was just lucky to have captured a natural smile. Those are always so much prettier than the fake smiles we give for posed pictures. Anyway, the actual photo is very funny because her eyes are closed and you can see that she is driving. It's a little scary to ride with Steph... |

A portrait of my sister-in-law Nissrene. I actually used my image editing software to get it like this since I couldn't quite get her hair and eyes as dark as I wanted with my pencils. If you click on the picture you can see the original next to this one. |
