 The Midsummer Hunt is a tale of Midsummer holiday spent in Imladris, during the celebrations and festivities. The centre of the story is an annual search for one of two banners of Gil-Galad, the last remaining of those from the War of the Ring. Haldir and sveral of his fellow LothL�rien elves compete in the event with every intention of winning... until one little problem upsets everything. My only disclaimer is that I wrote the story myself, with no aid from anyone else and that once more, Uruviel is the only mentioned character that's mine. Every other character was created by J.R.R. Tolkien, or a random name pulled out the emptiness of my mind. I would also like to mention that the idea for the "Midsummer Hunt" is not mine. I got it from a fanfiction I read a long time ago, to the author of that story, I'm sorry I don't remember your name, but here's your credit.
