A raven-haired shadow drifted through the corridors in silence; only her footsteps echoed on the cold stone on the dungeon floor. Lengthy black robes swept along behind her, trailing briefly in the little motes of dust that built up in darkened corners of each passage. Brief currents of icy air brushed across her face, sending frozen tendrils down her neck and causing her to wrap her robes tighter around her lean body. The silver and emerald crest on her uniform glittered each time she passed by the few, dismal torches.
Every so often she would glance over her shoulder, as if looking for something she knew was there, even if she couldnt see it. Pausing at divides and turns in the corridors, she didnt seem to know exactly where she was going only that she needed to get there.
Enduring the chill, she continued to wander aimlessly along until she came to an empty alcove. Clear, sparkling grey eyes scanned the almost pitch-black halls for movement, and saw nothing save her own breath rising in little clouds before her face. A small sigh of relief escaped her lips as she leant against the frigid wall. No sooner did she shut her eyes then a pale hand slithered out of the shadow to wind its way across her mouth.
Now come my dear, a soft, clipped voice whispered in her ear. You cant possibly be afraid of me?
The girl exhaled, her warm breath wafting gently through the slender fingers that loosened their hold across her lips. Lucius
Of course its me. The silver-haired man replied, raising an eyebrow in question. The girl turned to face him, face lacking any emotion to betray what she truly felt. You wouldnt be waiting for someone else down here, would you Acacia? Acacia shook her head, raven hair spilling over her shoulders to contrast against Luciuss silver. No, of course not.
Never the less, the smile that had charmed Luciuss face fell as he surveyed her with a gaze colder than the dungeon air. The only warmth that existed in the frozen halls was the small cloud of air between their bodies, a space that was quickly disappearing.
Acacias back was pressed firmly against the stone wall, and Lucius Malfoy was pressed firmly against her chest, giving her no space to move, no room to breathe. With the cruel mercy he was so well known for, he bent down and captured her lips in his own. His forcefulness melted what little resistance she had like ice over a flame. She had become a willing slave in his arms, and they both knew it.
Wrapping both arms around his dark-haired prize, Lucius lifted her from her feet, holding her, rather roughly against his body. Stepping backwards, he vanished into a now open door, illuminated by a bright emerald light. The stone passage closed without a sound, leaving the corridor empty.
