My story of the constellations
Ok, the story of the constellations. Sometime  early-mid 2001, My friends and I went to Bachelors Grove. We looked and documented our findings. Too bad we didn't have a camera or else you could see the stars fresh. It is a shame that as of 6/08/02 when I last went, the stars were completely faded away. All that remains of them is the image I have on my camcorder and the diagrams below. The first time Jon and I saw this, we clearly saw that some stars formed Orion. But the rest I could not make out. We left. The next time we went, mid-late 2001, We went to the Fulton grave again and it hit me like a bolt of lightning. If you look, the other stars make out Leo and Scorpio too. they are not done precisely and some of the stars overlap but nevertheless, there they are. even some of the brighter stars are accented (stamped twice to make them darker).  All that is there on the Fulton stone as of 6/08/02 is the devil head and upside down pitchfork doe in silver paint marker and some strange circle with a checker design in it. Why would someone stamp out constellations on a grave? And these constellations in particular? Any thoughts? Below I have placed some diagrams of the constelations as they appear, some stars may be missing, but essencialy, This is what is there. The diagram done in charcoal is the one I made the first day we found them. The second diagram is more precise and done in color so that you can see better. The second one was drawn on 4/09/02.

The first drawing I made ....I could only make out Orion. The rest are positioned wrong by just a little.
I just drew it again, this time more precise...the positioning is still slightly off, but just barely. The green connections form Scorpio. The blue connections form Orion, and the purple connections form Leo. As I said, they overlap but notice how those four stars are darkened in.
