A New Bone That Was Found
This is a new bone that was found by Coy Scottberg and John. It was found about 7-10  yards from the entrance. The bone fragment is about 5 1/2 inches in legnth and about 3 1/2 inches in diameter. It appears to have been in the ground for quite sometime or at least it was exposed to the elements for a very long period. Notice the very dingy color of it. Also, notice the fragmentation of the bone in several shots. This suggests that it was broken in a rough manner and worn down by time. Notice also the flare of the bone, this suggests that it is most likely a femur. There is controversy as to whether the bone is human or perhaps that of a deer. On one hand, A human bone is slightly thicker than 3 1/2 inches in diameter if not that exactly. But a deer bone is much thinner than that. The fact that bones keep on appearing is somewhat strange to me. HOw often are graves getting dug up? Or if it was a deer bone, why are there so many deer dying recently? If you know about the deer carcass outside the gates, then you may think that the bone could have been gotten from there. Allow me to clear this up. I was there when the deer bones were quite white and fresh. The bones still had some flesh attached. There were no limbs there. All that is outside the gates are ribs, jaw bone, and in another location, a pelvis and spine. There were no limbs there or anywhere in a very large distance. I would have spotted them beleive you me. Thanks to Coy Scottberg for the pics.
