The Dream

I woke with the taste of your tongue in my mouth
and the scent of your skin wrapped around me
I knew damn well you'd dreamed it with me
the sweltering heat of the stolen moments
bodies pressed together in shuddering urgency
legs twining, hands clutching
mouths seeking every mystery
moaning the river of our names.

I could feel your crisp beard graze my neck
your hands in my hair, on my waist, on my breasts
the weight of your lithe body pressing me down
as I pressed every curve up against you.

Your tongue filled my mouth
as I clung to your shirt
my fingers twitching in your hair
wanting more wanting more wanting more..
then I woke, still feeling your legs between mine.
