Mr. Pagan’s Classroom Rules
The following are a list of classroom rules that students are to follow:
1. Students are to be respectful to each other and myself.
2. Students will be silent when asked.
3. When I am lecturing, students are to pay attention.
4. Students must recognize that it is their responsibility to take notes
5. Snacks and drinks are not permitted in class.
6. There will be no arguing. If a student disagrees with me, he/she must speak with me outside of class in a calm and respectful manner.
7. I will not accept any late assignments except under certain extreme conditions.
8. If a student is absent, they are responsible for obtaining missed assignments as soon as they return.
9. For every day absent, students are allowed an equal number of days to make it up beginning with the first day back.
10. Students are only allowed to make up missed tests due to absence before and after school. Arrangements must be made in advance with me. These tests must be made up the same way assignments are due to an absence.
11. Students are to stay in their assigned seats unless given permission to move.
12. As I am not able to read minds, students are responsible for informing me of any difficulties so that the situation may be remedied.
13. Students are not to gather near the door or leave the classroom at the end of the hour until dismissed by me.
14. Students are to come to class on time. I strictly follow the attendance and tardy policies listed in your Agenda books on pages 29 - 32.
15. I do not tolerate cheating. Refer to p. 24 – 26 in your Agenda books.
16. Students must come to class prepared.
17. Students are to do homework in pencil or pen (blue or black only). I will not accept marker or gel pens.
18. All assignments will be kept in students’ file folders in the classroom
and will not be removed from the classroom.
Along with the above classroom rules, all school rules in the agenda
books will be strictly enforced.
By signing below, you are acknowledging the fact that you have read
and understood the rules.
