Linda Widyawati graduated from the Institute of Teacher Training and Education at Bandung (now Indonesia University of Education) in 1983. Following her graduation, she taught English at a public as well as several private high schools in Bandung, attended a series of English teachers upgrading program, and was an English instructor at the Krakatau Steel Training & Education Centre. She has been a supervisor and an English teacher at LB-LIA Cilegon since 1996. Ms. Widyawati has been actively involved in various international conferences organized by LIA, TEFLIN, and RELC Singapore.
