Golda J. Tulung is a lecturer of Sam Ratulangi University, Manado. She is currently a PhD candidate
at the Faculty of Education,  the
University of Ottawa, Canada.  Her research interest is in second language
teaching and learning.  In Indonesia,  she taught English proficiency skills  and English literature for under-
graduate  students  at the Faculty of Letters. She  also  helped  organize  the  University's  English Training Centre where she taught general English,  TOEFL, and  academic English for other undergraduate students and the  community.  She has presented papers and posters in scholarly events in Indonesia and in Canada, published articles, and attended international conferences in Canada and in the USA  in the area of language teaching and learning.
