Ardian Wahyu Setiawan earned his undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature
from the State University of Malang in 2001. Following his graduation, he worked as a company
program supervisor at English Training Center, Pupuk Kaltim Foundation. Due to his interest in
English for Specific Purposes (ESP), in 2004, he decided to move and work at Politechnic Manufacture (Polman) PT Timah, Tbk, Bangka. He had been involved in some projects related to the development of ESP curriculum for the company and also for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) projects. At the company, He is a lecturer and an English Program Coordinator. He teaches English for Mechatronic and Engineering for subject lecturers and students. He is currently an M.Ed student at the Education Faculty of Monash University, Australia. His main interests lie in the development of ESP and the implementation of content-based curriculum. |
