Like Raskova Octaberlina earned her undergraduate degree in English language education from
the Institute of Teacher Training and Education at Malang (now
State University of Malang) in 1999. In the same year she worked as a research assistant in Child Language Research at Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology Germany based in Jakarta. She has teaching experiences at some universities such as Bina Nusantara University and Atma Jaya University in Jakarta, as well as Muhammadiyah University of Malang (UMM) and State Islamic University (UIN) Malang. In 2006, she obtained her Masters in TESOL International from Monash University, Australia. Currently, she is a faculty member at Kanjuruhan University, Malang, and interested in the development of English for young learners and the progress of English language and culturein post colonial context, especially about endangered language in global era.
