Nihta V F Liando is a lecturer in English department at the State University of Manado. She obtained her first degree from this university, which was previously known as the Institute of Teacher Training and Education (IKIP) at Manado and her M.A. by Research degree from the University of Adelaide, Australia. In 2003, she was the recipient of Fulbright Award to participate at the American Studies Institute for Teachers, Teacher Trainers and Curriculum Specialist Program held at the Institute for Training and Development, Amherst, Massachusetts, USA. Nihta gained her PhD degree in 2007 from the School of Education, University of Queensland, Australia. Her area of interests are teaching and learning English as a foreign language, language policy as well as attitude and motivation in learning EFL. |
