The fact that young learners and adult learners are different in nature in their process of learning and acquiring L2 has always been discussed. However, the numbers of qualified English teachers of young learners are still insufficient. This phenomenon has created a great need of qualified English teachers to teach young learners. This will lead to another demand, which is a great need of teacher trainings. The question like "what do we need to know to teach young learners?" will be raised. This paper will discuss some points which are worth considering in dealing with the above question. Factors like what to prepare, what methodologies to be used and what activities to be introduced are important in facilitating teachers of young learners. Those factors are going to be explained briefly. It is expected that after knowing what to do in teaching young learners, teachers can overcome some problems that they usually face in the classrooms.
