In any form of testing, assumptions are made about the kind of evaluation that the teacher hopes will take place, and about the process of testing. As computers become more widely used in schools, it is clear that they have the potential not just to support the achievement of conventional goals, but also to redefine what we mean by testing. This paper discusses the use Microsoft Power Point in testing listening skills. Power Point, which is commonly used as the media for presentation, is a program that can effectively be used in assessing language skills at all levels, especially listening skills. The discussion focuses on the use of voice recording with ,PowerPoint and the use of hyperlink features to create some models of listening test. Moreover, with the support of animation, power point can provide more interesting ideas for teachers in developing their testing kits and materials. As a result, students will be motivated and more interested in taking listening test.
