The growing number of EC students in LBPP LIA Bekasi has given an idea to the writer to find ways to teach children in fun way. As we all know that the world of children is the world where every activity is a game. In this occasion we’d like to share the use of technology (i.e computer) for teaching young learner using specially designed VCD program, entitled Magic English, that is already in the market. All in

all, we’d like to teach English to children based on their needs and interest by using computer as a media.

The term learner-centered, meaning that children’s needs and interest are placed at the center of planning and teaching, is no longer as commonly used as before. It was often interpreted in the wider EFL world as simply putting fun into learning, whereas what was often necessary was ensuring there was some learning in all the fun! (Brewster 1995). In line with current thinking (Nunan and Lamb 1996, Cameron 2001) we shall use the term Learning-centered to highlight a greater emphasis on the need to emphasis on the need to maximize learning and provide both support and challenge in learning. If we want to focus on learning-centered teaching it is vital that we are wellinformed about the physical (children have a lot of physical energy and often need to be physically drive), emotional (children have a wide

range of emotional needs and are emotionally excitable), conceptual (children are developing conceptually and are at an early stage of their schooling and educational characteristics of children.
