The use of Internet in learning English is getting more widely
used. One of the advantages using the
Internet in learning English is that the learners can utilise Internet
resources, such as World Wide Web, email, newsgroup, mailing list, FTP, Telnet
and Internet Relay Chat (IRC) as well as MUD.
In line with the development of Internet technology, the learners now can
create the ways of learning English pursuant to their needs, speed and
capability. In this paper, the writer
tries to give ideas on how to learn English independently using the Internet
resources.
