This
paper explores various strategies used by a number of “good” students learning
English outside the classroom. It also describes the extent to which these
strategies are believed to be able to help them master both their receptive and
productive skills. The subjects in this study are some students studying in
Food Science Technology Study Program, in the Faculty of Agriculture, Institut Pertanian Bogor.
