and Learning Strategies: The Forgotten Components in English Language Teaching

The
students’ learning style and strategies influence their L2 acquisition. The
Group Embedded Figure Test (GEFT) which classifies learners into Field
Independent (FI) and Field Dependent (FD) proves that F1 learners achieve
better in their TOEFL structure and reading compared with FD learners. However,
there is no significant difference in their achievement in Reading C class.
This articles reveals the reasons why this is so.
