Background
A charm is an object that you carry on you or have near you most, if not all, of the time. The charm itself can be anything, but pieces of jewerlly and key rings seem to be very popular. A lot of different versions of this spell, often say you need to use something that has speical meaning for you as well.
Personally, I use a very battered metal keyring I've had for going on 15 years. there are two main reasons, I always have my keys in my pocket or they're on my bedside table so they're always either on me or very close to me. Also, I've managed to lose my keys a few times but they've always found their way back to me, so I view the keyring as being lucky.
You can use a charm as ongoing spell, I'd suggest things like protection spells. Though good luck spells and good fortune spells are common.
How to Make a Charm
You need:-
- a couple of candles
- an item you want to turn into a charm
- incense
Cast a circle, then chant "gods and goddesses come to me" while you light the candles and the incense. Call upon any particular god or goddess you want to aid you.
Hold the item you want to turn into a charm in both hands, while focusing on what you want and chanting "Protection/Good Luck Come to me". Picture engery flowing into you, from you into your charm and then from the charm back into you. Keep chanting, while you feel the power build up.
