I'm going to list books that have influenced me and, as a result, this webpage here. As time goes one I intend to write reviews these books, explaining why I like them, why I reccomend them and if there is anything the books I don't like or don't think works for me and why. I'll also try and list books that be found in most large libaries, which I do recommend you check out before going to the expense of actually buying any books. (that way you can decide if you actually like the book enough to warrent buying it).

Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner - I got this book, because a lot of people do get books by Scott Cunningham and reccomend them, combined with the fact that I'm a Solitary Witch. It's a very useful place to start out with as it covers all of the absoltle basics. Even if you want to join a coven it'd be useful to read this book, as it'll help you learn about Wicca and give a grounding in things like Sabbats. My point of view is that looking at covens you might want to join, while already understanding the basics of Wicca can only be a good thing. I know my public library has a copy of this book, if you want to try and find a copy of it in your public library first.
