2/09/03 - Well, I've really come into anime these past couple weeks. In my speech class, I managed to find two new fellow anime fans, and they're both really cool. One of them had soooo much anime up for download on his share folder, so I helped myself ^_^. I've seen a ton of new stuff, both recent and classic, and just, wow. Some stuff, I must say, though, was a little too much for my tastes. I guess I have to balance out my desire to be well-respected in the anime community with my personal tastes. I mean, I've seen some of the classics now - Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll - but I must walk away with my regrets. I saw more of the human figure than I ever have in my entire life. I'm embarassed to admit it, but I figure I have to, and it's better if I do. I think I've learned my lesson here, and it's time move on.
I know alot of you out there don't mind the nudity in anime, and in fact some of you prefer it, but I still find it to be something that I just can't get past. That's not to say that I can't look past it (or above it - I spent quite some time looking at the wall above my computer monitor) and focus on the story, which was very well told in all three cases. They were very good movies but for this common drawback. If anything, I need to get past this and realize that there was some greater purpose for my watching these movies, if only to get the word of caution out to those who might not be able to handle what they contain. Off to the review pages!!!
Anywho, series/movies to recommend!
Scrapped Princess is pretty good so far. I also really love FullMetal Alchemist. These series aren't out in the States yet, so if you can acquire them fansubbed, then more power to you. Nothing too offensive so far, but content reviews are in the review section, when I get around to them...

1/26/04 Holy crap, Ohayocon was AWESOME!!! As it turns out, I was able to pull off my Miki Kaoru (Utena) costume for the con (even though it was 3 pm on Saturday). I had sooo much fun there and it was, shall, we say, an interesting experience. I come out with a wallscroll, the Inuyasha limited edition box set (at least it sounds cool) and a CD of Dream, my favorite J-Pop group! Oh, and a costume, and some new friends, and memories. Ahh, the memories *cringe* (just kidding) lol.
1/10/04 - Well, Ohayocon is now less than 2 weeks away, and it looks I might have a costume in time. Thanks to all who emailed me (0) and keep those letters coming!
Anywho, 2nd semester started off with a bang, and the fireworks don't show any sign of slowing. Guess I just gotta keep plugging away. So updates will be more and more infrequent. I'll do stuff as I find/make time to myself. Maybe I'll move these updates to a different page... Yeah, that's it.... An update page..., no, better yet, an archive to chronicle the growth of the site! YES!!! And I also added a page of my favorite anime characters.

1/4/04 - Back to college for me. I rearranged the menu over there and I'm busy thinking of stuff I can add here. I'd put up my stories, but I'm afraid someone would steal them. I'd put up some more art, but I don't have any new stuff scanned in yet. Oooh! I know! I can review some more anime! Make like, a database or something. Alright. Time to hit the ramen, crank the j-pop, and get to work! And one more thing - Utena rocks!!! It's a little freaky and everything, but it's still cool.
