| Joining the White Council. First you have to get a master to accept you as an apprentice. A master is a leader of the clan. A master can have up to three apprentices. An apprentice watches his or her master and learns his conduct. Once a master thinks an apprentice is ready he allows them to be promoted to journeyman, which is a member of WC. That's joining the White Council. Reasons for Joining. Most people join our clan because we have very good map makers, others would like to join to find friends who also like tolkien maps, and some to learn how to make them.
