Last night i slept
without rest
Fitful dreams
In one dream i was a fugitive
from justice
That’s normal enough; i’m that a
lot
The other dream was a lot more terrifying. I dreamt that
in one swift blow
i lost my
family and all who were dear to me –
b/c of college
The way my throat felt when i
woke up, i might have been screaming
or at least talking
in my sleep
And this time there was no roommate to wake me up
