Bratislava is one of these Eastern European cities that feels Eastern European. Cheap art galleries and museums are good, but what you would expect for a town.
Far better is getting out of town and walking through the Carpathian mountains and up to the TV tower.
Also a good place to walk is alomg the Danube although take your passport as the border isn't too far away.
The biggest tourist attraction is the castle at the meeting point of the Danube and another big river.
