Vienna is full of galleries and museums. Particularly good are the Leopold Museum and Kuntshauswien.
The Leopold has the largest collection of the scarily good Egon Schiele (who died in his early twenties, tragically even before he could commit suicide in his late twenties like all good angst driven artists).
The Kuntshauswien is a weird art-deco tribute to a weird hippy like person who promoted art and world peace.
Vienna zoo is also great and exactly what a zoo should look like, spread out, lots of animals and even a couple of tigres.
The best way of getting round the city is the underground, make sure and get your tickets stamped at the little boxes!
