Week #3

BORROWED TIME

It was great to meet you.
We all had a blast.
Too bad this year
Has gone by so fast.

You are a nice person,
Very reliable and true.
You're caring and kind,
And kinda strong too.

Dances were fun.
Everything seemed fine.
And then we found out
That we were on borrowed time.

Everyone will miss you,
Your wonderful presence we will lack.
It is even more sad to know
That this time you are not coming back.

It's sad that you're leaving.
Parting is such sweet sorrow.
But it was fun while it lasted
During the time we got to borrow.
