| �What was all that about?� Stephanie asked, looking back at Fred with a weird expression on her face.
�How was it?� Michelle asked her, suddenly changing the subject. �It was wonderful. It was so romantic!� Stephanie told her happily. �I really want to go to somewhere with Fred,� Michelle said with a sad look on her face. �Listen, Michelle, if you and Fred ever have troubles, you can tell Seamus and me. We will help you out,� Stephanie said, rubbing her friend�s shoulder soothingly. �Thanks, that means a lot to me. Fred and I are just fine.� Stephanie and Seamus had already settled in at their new home, as Stephanie explained to Michelle and wanted to stay and spend time with their friends. They decided to watch some movies. �Do you guys want to watch Three Men and a Baby?� Seamus asked. �I haven�t seen that in a while.� Michelle looked at Fred warily. He shook his head. �Uh, maybe another time. How about�a horror flick?� Michelle asked. Everyone agreed, and after the movie, Stephanie and Seamus were anxious to get home. Michelle had fallen asleep on her husband�s chest. �I am going to go put her in bed,� Fred said as he gently lifted her up off of the couch. �I think Steph and I are going to head out,� Seamus told Fred as they stood up, yawning and stretching. �All right. We�ll see you two Saturday at the party, right?� Fred asked. �We�ll be there,� Stephanie answered sleepily. Fred smiled at them and took Michelle upstairs as Seamus and Stephanie walked out the door. When they got back to their new house, Stephanie looked at Seamus and said, �I think there is something going on between them.� �Oh, Stephanie, you�re overreacting. They�re fine.� Seamus said climbing into bed. �I�m not so sure.� |
