| November 3, 2001 (Sorry this is so short, I don�t have enough time!)
Well everyone is saying that I want Oliver and Michelle to break up! I never said that! It would be nice if they broke up, but I am not going to push him about it. Then I heard that when they were fighting, I would get excited about it! I don�t get excited, I get concerned! Poor Oliver. Well the spaghetti thing was so funny, everyone came up to Theo and I and gave us high fives and such. I thought it was kind of mean but it was worth it. Poor Michelle, I feel so bad that she got her school robes all dirty. NOT! Ha, ha, ha. Well during Potions, Michelle wasn�t there, so Oliver asked if I would like to be his partner. I said, �Sure, but won�t Michelle be angry?� Then he said �Probably not, she doesn�t feel well today anyway.� Hmm. Poor her. So he and I were partners in the end. I love Oliver. Kisses! Stephanie November 6, 2001 They kicked serious butt in their Quidditch game against Ravenclaw! Woo hoo! They did awesome. I was very impressed with the Chasers� agility, the Beaters� mobility (turns bright red), and the Keeper�s awesome maneuvering. The Seeker did well, though they don�t play a huge part. Well, no mess with the spaghetti incident on Halloween. I was more angry than I was anything else. Many people came up to me and told me that Stephanie and that Theo girl were celebrating my �defeat.� I don�t care about hearsay anymore. It just gets you into trouble. A lot of people asked how I was. I just cast a Cleaning Charm on my robes, so no biggie. I also wanted to do a huge Memory Charm on Stephanie and Theo so they wouldn�t be able to gloat, but before I could carry through with my plans, Hermione intervened. Damn that girl. Oliver�s been elusive lately. I think it has something to do with me being half Muggle and the Slytherins giving him crap about it. I�ll confront him in a matter of days. He�s been really weird, eyeing that Stephanie girl. I stand by what I said before; she just wants to ensnare him. Who�s got the ring? Fred�s been my little protector the past few days since Halloween. Not only is he making sure that no one messes with me, but also he�s trying to make sure that I don�t go around putting Curses on anyone else. Sorry� I just happen to have a bad temper. Gotta go. Fred says hi. Michelle November 6, 2001 Well, people were saying that Michelle and Oliver broke up. During Potions class they were flirting, so that couldn�t be. Rumor probably. I wish that they would break up, but they probably won�t. I think that Fred has got it for Michelle. He is always being sympathetic toward her and sucking up. If he likes her so much, why doesn�t he just ask her out since Oliver and her are having so many problems? There is this major project due in Transfiguration and we got to pick partners. Of course Oliver and Michelle were partners, so I ended up being partners with Malfoy. That was not my first choice either! Oh well, maybe he isn�t so bad? Well, I have some homework to do. Bye. Stephanie November 11, 2001 It�s been way too long since I wrote last. So schoolwork has been piling up recently. We just finished O.W.L.S. last year and they�re already preparing us for N.E.W.T.S.? *In an extremely whiny voice* Come on! Oh well. Oliver has been so unbelievably busy with Quidditch and his own homework that I�ve had to find study time with the Weasley boys. They�re actually good company. They get their work done ten minutes at a time and then make me laugh for another ten. Ollie and I had a long chat yesterday with many tears shed and decided that we loved each other enough to dispel the rumors (and that certain pair of eyes) and be free to love each other. I can�t help it. When I stare at those big puppy dog brown eyes and see his slightly gap-toothed smile, I am a slave. Especially when those big puppy dog eyes are wet with tears. *Sigh* There�s something seriously wrong with me. That�s what Fred said yesterday anyway. Fred�s my sudden failsafe. Love him to pieces! Why does he constantly say hi to my diary when I write? It�s not like the diary can say hi back! At any rate, he says hi and I say bye. Michelle November 14, 2001 Well I am so tired. Yesterday we had along practice and my arms are killing me. Oliver kept telling me that I am getting better and better each practice. In my opinion I am getting lazier. When I was doing homework in the common room, Theo walked in and greeted me with a smile. �Oliver and Michelle are in a fight right now!� I rolled my eyes. �Again?� I said with a shrug. She looked at me and shrugged. During supper I noticed Hermione wasn�t eating. �Hermione what�s the matter?� I asked. �Oh nothing, I am just worrying about the Potions final, that�s all,� she replied. I looked at Seamus and he rolled his eyes and smiled. I giggled. Well I am supposed to be sleeping right now, so I�ll write later. Stephanie November 16, 2001 Oliver is freaking out. Apparently he thinks that Snape is trying to kill me. A couple days ago he was in Potions class and he started talking about the affects of the Anti-Muggle potion and that we would be studying and brewing it soon. Oliver positively flipped out and ran up to me after my Transfiguration class and started going on and on about how Snape was going to brew me potion and kill me. I only laughed at him and he got so angry! He started screaming things at me like, �Don�t you care?� �You know he�s capable of it!� �He�s going to do it!� �How can you laugh!� I just started yelling back at him, half laughing. That new Cleo girl sped by, an almighty smirk on her face. No doubt going to tell Stephanie that we were fighting and on the verge of break up. *Gasp!* God, they�re so stupid. Oh, Fred just walked in for our nightly studying session and it reminded me of something. Hermione is SO cute� she and Ron are um� well, they�re not technically dating yet, but he held her hand, and I must stress that it was accidental, because he turned bright red. She�s been really flustered lately and if it�s not obvious to her friends, she will answer stupid reasons to other people. Stuff like, �Oh, just wondering what I got on my Transfiguration test,� �Oh just hoping I passed Charms.� Whatever! Fred once again, says hi. You git! The book can�t say hi back. Michelle November 21, 2001 Today during Transfiguration, Theo accidentally ran into Michelle and she said, �Watch it, Cleo.� Theo just smirked and said, �My name is not Cleo, it�s Theo. Get it right!� Then she walked off. Everyone started to laugh including Professor McGonagall. How thick can you get? During supper, Goyle came up to me and asked me if wanted to go out with Draco. I looked over at the Slytherin and he was sitting there with a smirk on his face. �Is this for real?� I said. �Yeah, I�m not lying,� Goyle said. Then Draco walked up and asked me himself, �Will you Stephanie?� And I said yes. Draco looked at me, kissed my hand, and walked off. �Why did you agree?� Hermione snarled. �I�ve liked him for a while now,� I said, winking at Hermione and I noticed Oliver was watching. �So, you�re saying this is a trap?� Hermione said as we were walking to the common room. �No, not really. I do like him, it�s just that I want Oliver to see how it is when you have someone, and they are showing off right in front of you when they know you like you. Do you get what I�m saying?� I said to her. �I guess.� The next day in Potions, Draco sat by me, and I noticed that Michelle and Oliver were watching with a close eye. I put my hand on his shoulder and Oliver started to squirm, like he was going to get out of his seat. �What is wrong with you Wood?� Professor Snape asked. �Nothing sir, I�m sorry,� Oliver stared at Draco. Theo looked at me and winked. I have tons of homework and Quidditch practice, so I will write later. Stephanie November 23, 2001 Guess what my new favorite hobby is? Picking on Theo and Stephanie. I�m so evil. Just the other day I �accidentally� called Theo �Cleo.� She actually thought I didn�t know her name! As if I couldn�t remember what her name was after what happened in the Great Hall. Oh, and Stephanie is now dating Draco, and that will only end in flames. That�s why I�m so anxious to watch. Ha, ha, ha! Oliver is starting to seriously get on my nerves. He talks about Stephanie and Draco all the time. Finally, tonight while we were in the common room (I had just gotten back from studying with Fred and George, he�d just gotten back from Quidditch practice) we had a huge argument. �IF YOU�RE SO CONCERNED ABOUT WHO SHE�S DATING, WHY DON�T YOU GO DATE HER?� �BECAUSE I�M WITH YOU!� �NO YOU�RE NOT! YOUR MIND IS ON HER ALL THE TIME! WHY DON�T YOU ASK HER TO MARRY YOU?� He mouthed wordlessly for a few seconds and I slipped my ring off my finger and flashed it at him. �Do you want it back so you can give it to her? I�m sure, being the conniving hag that she is, she�d love nothing more than to have you on her arm after you �dumped� me.� I kept the ring and ran to my dorm, fuming. Tomorrow, he�ll be on his knees groveling, but I�m not sure if I want him to this time. After all, Fred made a pretty good point today. �If he wants to look, it�s better to let him go so he can touch too.� And that makes me wonder. Oh well. The Incredible Flying Git says hello again. Michelle November 24, 2001 Yesterday I was about to walk into the common room when I heard Michelle and Oliver fighting. I didn�t want to hear what it was about so I just walked off. I went in to the library and noticed that Draco was across the room with Crabbe and Goyle. He smiled and waved his hand for me to come over his way. I sat down, then he gave Crabbe and Goyle a look that he wanted them to leave. They both walked off. �They were being a nuisance,� he said with a smirk. �They didn�t seem to bother me,� I said. �Are you ready for the Quidditch match tomorrow?� he asked. �Yes, but Hufflepuff doesn�t seem easy.� I said, looking at him. �Yeah, I know, Slytherin had some trouble beating them.� �Hopefully we don�t have trouble at all.� Just as we were talking Oliver walked in. He stood there and looked at me when Draco butted in and said, �What are you staring at Wood?� �You better mind yourself, Malfoy or there will be trouble,� Oliver said, walking off. �Why is he always looking at us?� Draco asked. �I don�t know,� I said with hesitation. �Well, our next class starts in ten minutes, we better be heading off,� he said. �I agree. I�ll be there in a second, I have to gather my books.� �Okay, I�ll see you there,� he said, walking toward me. He bent over and kissed my cheek. Oliver looked up as Draco walked away. As I stepped out the doorway, I ran into Michelle. �You better watch where you�re going, Stephanie.� �I need to watch myself? You�re the one that always messes up, no wonder you�re not on the Quidditch team.� I walked off and as I turned around, Michelle stood there speechless. Now who�s the hag? Stephanie November 30, 2001 God, what is wrong with people (namely Stephanie, Oliver, and that� Theo person)? First of all � Stephanie actually had the audacity to try and cut me down the other day in the library. �No wonder you�re not on the Quidditch team?� PLEASE! If she were paying attention to anyone other than Oliver at tryouts, she would have noticed that I was not there. Quidditch is not my favorite sport, either. She�d know that too. Second of all � Three days ago, Theo tried to corner me in the library (while I was doing my Arithmancy homework, thank you very much. She called me a coward for not fighting but instead, getting up and moving so I could sit in peace). She was yelling at me to leave Stephanie alone and to quit acting like I owned Oliver. I finally cast a Deafening Charm on my ears so I couldn�t hear her. I got my homework done while she was still raving. She left in a huff because I wasn�t fighting back. Please. Fred tried to tell me that she looked completely idiotic screaming and turning red when I wasn�t even paying attention, but I couldn�t hear him. Whoops. Finally � OLIVER! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? He�s being so weird� I almost gave him the ring back four or five times the other day. He�s just so aggravating. I think what scares me more than losing Oliver is the fact that every time we fight, I go straight to Fred. Fred is my protector and my brother-like best friend, but he�s also a mediator. He told me that he has Muggle Studies with Stephanie, and that when she�s not tempted by Oliver or provoked by Theo, she�s a very pleasant, warm person. I guess he�s probably right. She just wants Oliver right now, and that bothers me. He chose me, not her. Why can�t she accept that? Oh well. This is why my best friend is male. Granted, he�s a Weasley TWIN, but� yeah. Males tell it like it is. They don�t sugarcoat it and compete with you the way females do. But I still love Hermione with all of my heart! Anyway, better get moving. For once Fred isn�t here� HEY!
