History: Jericho Blake was born in the year 2001 and raised in a survivalist camp in the northeastern USA. There he learned about nature, philosophy, and the martial arts (the camp's leader had seen too many old Segal flatvids). He wished to see the world, and in 2017 joined the USMC, where he worked in Force Recon, in a Spec Ops capable unit. Most of his time in the corps was spent in Central American and East Asian jungles, as part of 'counter-insurgency' units. After eight years he decided that was no way to find enlightenment (as most missions seemed to serve corporate interests), and was honorably discharged.
He returned home only to find the camp had been destroyed by a biochem corporation's troops, to build a new factory. Briefly he considered revenge, but realized this was just another example of the survival of the fittest. For a time he worked for the CIA as a courier, but within a year found the pay was not worth the risk. Since his only skills are those of the warrior, he has since worked as a mercenary, bodyguard, and infiltrator, becoming numb to the brutality rather than rationalizing it. He hopes in his travels, he may yet find a purpose.
Description: Basically, imagine Rutger Hauer in 'Bladerunner'. He's about 6'3", 200#, with bleach-blonde hair and blue eyes. Sullen yet philosophical. Wears a dark trench coat to conceal his multiple guns (The Naja is his favorite, the revolver for big jobs, but he goes back to the twin Berettas when high levels of firepower are needed). He wears a double shoulder rig-- the Naja on the left, the revolver on the right. The Berettas are in small-of back holsters at his belt. The knives he sort of rotates around. He usually wears a t-shirt, military-style (non-cammo) trousers and combat boots under the coat. He is rarely without a pair of mirror shades. During covert ops he wears a black bandanna over his hair, and SmartGoggles.
It should be apparent that he prefers handguns to all other weapons, save perhaps his bare hands, but he will not go out of his way to fight someone he can shoot. He likes to make every shot count, and thus prefers rounds with optimum stopping power. He learned how to wield knives, swords, and bo-sticks as part of his aikido training. However, as an experienced aikidoka, he has found that his best weapon most often is a chromed opponent's own augmented strength.
In terms of personality, he tends to be withdrawn and trust does not come easily to him. However, he has a quiet sense of humor that he shows at 'inappropriate' (i.e. high stress) moments. He tends to be blunt and honest with others. He knows combat best, and deep down enjoys it, but he likes to think he is seeking enlightenment, and war is only how he makes a living. Although he ascribes to a 'live and let live unless you get in my way" philosophy, he occasionally cannot avoid helping the underdog.

Commercialized in 2021, the Naja is mainly used in some armies and in security militias.
