“Most girls are bigger than their mothers when they get married these days and taller also, so lots of times I have to put as much as five Indies in the top, redesign the bodice and match the lace. We find a way of adding to the bottom, too.”
Mrs. Ramsden’s passion is for antique dresses and lace. She has spent considerable time restoring about half a dozen antique dresses.
