Biding time

You think you know everything about me,
But you really don't know a thing,
So sit down with me for a moment,
And forgive me if my words sting,
I'm not as nice as you think I am,
No, not even remotely as calm,
Simmering just beneath the surface,
Is a great desire to do harm.
What? You think this is all just a joke,
Just a harmless meandering,
Even though I already told you,
You don't know a Gods twice damned thing.
You see me as a little kitten,
Say my bark is worse than my bite,
And it really does not bother me,
Because I will set you all right.
One day someone will push me too far,
And you'll see who I really am,
Until then I'm just biding my time,
Why? Because, put simply, I can.
Even now you think I mean nothing by,
That it is all just another rhyme,
But I already said I don't give a damn,
But I know you'll all see in time.
