i started playing chess regularly for fun a few years ago and since then i have advanced very quickly in my understanding, knowledge and ability at it.

i enjoy it for one because it is the ultimate game of strategy, intelligence and skill. the other reason is that chess is also an art. to play really well also requires you use imagination and creativity.

i've advanced to the point now where i'm starting to think seriously about whether to officially become a chess master(2200+ rating)or grandmaster(2500+).

so here you'll find links to my chess wins against the chess computer caissa. i think 'crushings of caissa' would be a more apt description. it's definitely a tough chess program to beat though. each game is also a unique and original win. i very appropriately refer to them as masterpieces.

my most recent games(games 1 and 2) im especially proud of. on the first game I mated caissa in 26 moves and on the second one I mated it in 35 moves. mating a master or expert level opponent with 60-80 moves is considered very good.

btw, they were not accomplished in any way using a chess program. i say that because there are many people known to use those, especially on the caissa website. i don't know how anybody could find any pleasure or satisfaction in doing something so pointless and stupid.

in addition to regular chess i also enjoy playing speed chess(2, 5 and 10 min. games). these are usually the only type of games ill play others online.

note: i accidently threw my first game i played on the elocben4 account so my rating should be 2270 on the 3rd game game here and 2500 on the 4th game. caissa's rating should generally be higher on the site too- probably master or at least expert(2000-2200) but a lot of people there routinely use more advanced chess programs to beat caissa, so it's rating is probably significantly lower than it otherwise would be.

also, your rating will automatically go down from 2500 on caissa, even if you don't lose, unless you register there as an official grandmaster or play and win 2500+ players(which i haven't had the opportunity to do yet).
