About My School

  My school is a just-was-born school as it is just 4 years old. Yeah, SMAN Sumatera Selatan (Sampoerna Academy) is a boarding school with scholarship system which first stand 4 years ago in the previous location, BLPT South Sumatera.

  After 2 years stays in BLPT, SMAN Sumatera Selatan has moved to their own location at Pangeran Ratu Street in Jakabaring, near to the Jakabaring Sport City and Fruit Market Jakabaring. The school building now is so great with arround 11 main buildings and a very big wide building where it has the art room, music room, multimedia room, language room, ICT lab, Physic lab, Biology lab, and Chemistry lab downstairs and a big Auditorium (Theatre room) and Library upstairs.

  Here students are divided into 9 different houses in the dormitory living just like in Harry Potter film. There are Dolphin House, Dove House, Eagle House, Hornbill House, Komodo House, Lion House, Manta Ray House, Rhino House, and Shark House. Each house has it's own characteristic so students can develop themselves through their house. This 9 house also related to the 9 core values of this school. By this 9 core values, this school believe that they can create the Indonesia Future Leaders.

  This school has won so many competitions so far, start from the lowest level until the International level. This school not only won in academic, but also in non-academic like FLS2N, O2SN, and many more.

  For me, being a student in this school is a great gift from God and through this school I will reach my dreams.

Above all, in this school integrity is number one.
