Pippin is the latest addition to our household. He was already a few weeks old when he joined us on January 08, 2002.

Pippin is a mixed breed male puppy with a shiny black coat and large drooping ears. His fur is completely black except for the edges of his paws.

Pippin is derived from the nickname of one of the 4 hobbits in The Lord of the Rings. The actual name of the hobbit concerned is Peregrin Took.
