Miriam is extremely popular in Hong Kong but is virtually an unknown in other parts of the world. As a Miriam fan, I feel disappointed that most people recognise her roles in Cantonese serials rather than her songs. If it wasn't for the advent of the Internet, she may not be my favourite female artiste today. I started listening to her songs whilst studying in the UK but only became a fan after I obtained her compilation album in 1998 and heard the song, The Wolf Is Coming. Listening to her songs tend to brighten up my day.
